A watch and the time

Sur le chemin de mon retour
j’ai croisé un homme…
Un de ces rares hommes occidentaux
qui ont de la sagesse dans les yeux…

Je lui racontais mon voyage,
lorsqu’il me dit :
L’Occident a des montres,
l’Orient a le temps… »

Je compris alors…

I told him my journey, when he said to me:
