Crazy ?
I have difficulties to understand why a so simple situation seems so complicated to fix.
A global solution was, and still is, available. (But the more we wait, the more the damages will take time to recover).
Let’s say it simple:
There are two categories of people:
The dominant and the dominated. Or The peoples and the Controllers.
An intermediary:
The politician and affiliated.
A leverage:
Money
An algorithm to settle the whole thing
Consumption (In its modern definition).and Banking.
A propaganda tool:
Television and similar.
So what is the chain ?
People > Tv > Consumption and bank (your money goes in consumption or in the bank) > Money goes through the financial network to the top: major corporations > power to control everything > control of the Television and associated > Trust in the system > people > start of the loop.
How many of us distrusts the system, but still uses both channels (consumption and bank) of money's dragging?
Change that, and their control will collapse.
A proof?
Though it is theoretical, just imagine that EVERYONE who has some money in the bank system take it back for ONE day, Losses in the stock market will be immense. Do it on a week and it is a financial cataclysm.
And they know it. Have a look ! Everywhere is violent repression, pressure on the people, poverty as a domination tool.
But it is no question to push our world into chaos.
Let’s change our bank system > Solidary and ethical and local banking : money do not circulate from bottom to top, but horizontally.
Let’s change our way to consume > Local, ethic, solidary. Give the power back to our local farmer, small factory. (Why the F ck should I need a table made in china, or Suede? My neighbor the carpenter can do it as well) .

The World Bank's global warning

The World Bank yesterday released a report prepared by the Potsdam Institute spelling out what the world is likely to experience if it warmed by 4 degrees Celsius. The World Bank declares that 4 degrees is looking increasingly likely by the end of the century without some serious policy changes by governments globally.
The report essentially attempts to summarise much of the research literature that has built up since the 2007 fourth IPCC Assessment Report and puts it in the context of the path we’re on unless we start taking this problem seriously.
In short it does not make for pleasant reading. World Bank President Dr Jim Yong Kim says, “it is my hope that this report shocks us into action,” as he believes, “a 4 degree world can, and must, be avoided.”
For the World Bank, who’s primary purpose is to help the impoverished nations out of poverty,“the lack of action on climate change not only risks putting prosperity out of reach of millions of people in the developing world, it threatens to roll back decades of sustainable development.”
The chart below provides an impression of the alternative emission paths and their likely implications for temperature rise.
According to the report, we are on a path illustrated by the red line. However, if governments follow through on the pledges they’ve made in Copenhagen and Cancun then it would put us on the purple line, giving a mean temperature rise estimate of 3 degrees Celsius. But even this path still carries a 20 per cent chance of temperature exceeding 4 degrees. If governments don’t make good on their pledges then the red line would imply a 40 per cent chance of warming above four degrees.

Sea level rise
In terms of sea level rise, the latest research, unlike older assessments, is more confident that land-based ice, and not just thermal expansion of existing sea water, will play a significant role in sea level rise.
Older assessments were hopeful that increased snow falls might occur over Greenland and the Antarctic that could offset any melting from higher temperature. Unfortunately the rate of land ice contribution to sea level rise has increased by about a factor of three since the 1972–1992 period. And both the Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets have been losing mass since at least since the early 1990s.
The chart below illustrates that our current emissions path (the red line) gives a mean estimate of a one metre rise in sea level by the end of this century. However sea level would continue to rise substantially after this point. For example, even if global warming was limited to 2 degrees Celsius, global mean sea level could still rise by between 1.5 and 4 meters above present-day levels by the year 2300.

Extreme weather events
Rising temperatures will lead to increased likelihood of extreme weather events and heat waves. The report notes that the past decade has seen an exceptional number of extreme heat waves around the world. These events, such as: Victoria’s 2009 heat wave and associated severe bushfire; Russia in 2010 (which claimed 55,000 lives); Europe in 2003 (70,000 premature deaths); and the US in 2012; were highly unusual with monthly and seasonal temperatures typically more than three standard deviations warmer than the local mean temperature for that period.
Another well understood feature of this warming will be a strengthening of the hydrological cycle because a warmer atmosphere can hold more water vapour. This tends to exacerbate droughts and flooding rains.
The table detailed below, taken from page 18 of the report, documents a series of extreme events over the past decade and the degree of confidence that these could be attributed to human induced climate change. Many of these events are so outside the bounds of past experience that it seems there is a medium to high likelihood that global warming has contributed to the event’s severity.

Food production
These extreme events, in conjunction with rising overall temperature, will take their toll on agriculture. While modelling prior to 2007 predicted some improvement in food production with warming of 1 to 3 degrees, according to the analysis, “research since 2007 is much less optimistic.” The report observes, “These new results and observations indicate a significant risk of high-temperature thresholds being crossed that could substantially undermine food security globally in a 4°C world.”
Coral reefs
The effect of 4 degree warming would be disastrous for coral reefs. Coral reefs would stop growing at a CO2 concentration of about 450ppm, which we’re well on the way to hitting within the next few decades. And coral reefs are at high risk of dissolving by around 2050 unless we seriously turn our emissions growth around.
Overall, as you can probably appreciate, the report doesn’t make for particularly pleasant reading, and I haven’t even got into other problems highlighted such as ocean acidification, and spread of pathogens and vector-borne diseases. However that’s probably more than enough catastrophically bad news for one day.
Those readers of Climate Spectator who aren’t inclined towards communist conspiracy theories already know this is a serious problem. This report simply provides an exclamation point on the already apparent urgent need for action.

Petit glossaire et autres choses pratiques de l’activisme humaniste. Partie 1
Introduction
Face à la monté croissante des « injustices » de notre monde, parfois tellement injuste, que de les requalifier de « crime contre l’humanité » ne serait pas surévalué, il apparait pour certains, dont moi-même, comme une urgence à « entrer en résistance », une révolte à mener au nom du simple bon sens, au nom du respect de nous-même et des autres, au nom de nos enfants, aussi. Car il semblerait que le vieil adage « Après moi le déluge » soit en phase de devenir bien plus qu’un mot de l’esprit, mais un précipice vertigineux dont on commencerait à voir la frange*. (* « Qui forme une bordure » et non pas « une ornementation capillaire ».)
Et si, effectivement, il est fort probable que les décideurs d’aujourd’hui seront les décédés de demains, il ne reste pas moins vrai que ce sont nos enfants, voir leurs enfants qui voir devoir se trouver de GROSSES éponges pour nettoyer le gâchis de leur vénérables ancêtres.
A ce stade, je pense que déjà la moitié des lecteurs auront quitté la salle. Ayons une pensée émue pour eux, et revenons à notre affaire.
Au vu de l’immensité et l’amplitude des choses qu’il faudrait changer, redresser, inverser, corriger, supprimer, nettoyer, interdire, ralentir, accélérer, réparer, ne plus faire, refaire, … presque tout le dictionnaire des verbes pourrait correspondre …, nous ne sommes plus à devoir résister, mais bien à révolutionner.
Or notre très récente histoire (encore du domaine de l’actualité) nous enseigne qu’il faut se méfier des « révolutions », et surtout des « révolutionnaires » en génération spontanée, qui éclose çà et là, munies d’idéologies aussi séduisantes que « démocratie » « liberté » « justice » « égalité » « fraternité » et blablabla…
« Aie confiance ! » sifflotait Kaa au petit Mowgli … Ben voyons ! Désolé, on a vu le livre de la jungle, on sait !!!
Petite parenthèse néo-politique
Plus un mouvement idéologique (politique, citoyen, etc..) est important, plus il est facile à noyauter, infiltrer, détourner, décrédibiliser, rendre caduc.
Nous en voyons (pour qui sait lire entre les lignes), des exemples tous les jours. Les techniques de désinformation sont l’outil imparable de la propagande de ceux qui détiennent les clés de la porte que nous cherchons à ouvrir. Ne leur donnons aucune chance de nous égarer dans leur labyrinthe.
Comment ? Restons individuel, petit. Restons simple, logique. Ne soyons pas monolithique dans notre pensée, mais pluri-visionnaire. N’embrassons aucune idéologie, mais écoutons les toutes. Ayons du sang-froid. Utilisons notre intelligence plutôt que notre émotionnel.
Un exemple ? J’ai vu récemment circuler la photo d’un petit garçon noir, tout plein mignon. Et le texte disait : « si tu aimes cette photo, «like » et partage là. Sinon, tu es raciste ».
Voilà EXACTEMENT le type de manipulation de masse que nous subissons chaque jour, si nous laissons notre émotionnel dirigeait nos choix et nos actes.
Avec un regard basé sur l’intelligence froide de la logique cartésienne, il devient (avec un peu de pratique tout de même) alors assez aisé de développer comme un 6iéme sens qui nous dit « Attention, danger, ceci n’est peut-être pas ce qu’il semble. »
Bon, ceci n’est pas absolu, et un jour ou l’autre, on tombe dans le panneau, et participons à la diffusion de ces « fausses bonnes nouvelles » ou de ces messages d’alerte, comme ces « hoax » (canular) circulant en permanence, notamment sur FB, montrant de pauvres enfants atteint de maladies rares (ou autre grand malheur) nous incitant à le partager, FB donnant $1 pour chaque partage. PUREMENT ET SIMPLEMENT FAUX !
Ne riez pas, c’est de la pure propagande. En relayant ces imparables cris de détresse (dont certains sont quand même vrais, ne soyons pas obtus. Soyons méthodique et vérifions !), ceux qui le font satisfont ainsi leur frustration, et se donnent l’impression d’avoir participé à « un grand mouvement de solidarité », ne cherchant pas plus loin comment aider ce monde à sortir la tête hors de l’eau…
Mission accomplie, Le fantôme Goebbels a encore frappé. Les masses peuvent se rendormir sur leurs lauriers (en plastique), repues de leur propre « générosité ».
Et lorsque que ces mêmes apprendront qu’ils se sont fait berné en beauté, ils jurent, mais un peu tard, qu’on ne les y prendra plus, et ignoreront dès lors purement et simplement les VRAIS cris de détresses.
CQFD.
Ne les blâmez pas. Nous y avons TOUS, un jour ou l’autre, participé.
Bon, on se suicide tout de suite, ou on attend encore un peu ?
Que nenni, on attend encore un peu. Mais si vous insistez, je vous conseille très fortement le suicide à la bière, très peu létal, Nous n’avons aucun rapport de suicides collectifs à la bière ayant fini autrement que par quelques maux de tête, voir des nausées, une crétinisation passagère, et l’apparition chez certain d’une réaction allergique provoquant un gonflement du ventre… Et pourtant, certains essayent depuis longtemps… Ils ont même leurs temples à eux, dédié exclusivement au culte du suicide à la bière …
Donc, nous resterons très en deçà de la notion de génocide.
Ce qui n’est pas du tout le cas de certaines cause que nous allons défendre (ou combattre, c’est selon.)
Et malheureusement, leur nombre croit vertigineusement. Là, plus sérieusement, dès lors que nous avons ouvert cette boite de Pandore, il devient assez difficile de garder un sourire collé à nos lèvres.
Une personne qui m’est très chère, m’a confiée récemment se lever tous les matins avec une envie de pleurer, due en grande partie à cette misérable histoire qu’est en train de devenir l’humanité.
Alors voilà, je me suis décidé. Je vais écrire quelque chose comme un enfant illégitime du « J’accuse » de qui vous savez (Vous savez pas ? Google est votre ami !) et Charlie Hebdo…
Quoi !!! Le prof Choron aurait eu une aventure avec notre Emile !!! Mais c’est dégeulasse ! Je sais ça fait un choc, quand on apprend ça.
